Hayley McElhinney was born on September 12, 1974 in Australia. She is an actress, known for The Babadook (2014), Mystery Road: Origin (2022) and Blue Heelers (1994).

[September 2005] She was one of 12 actors who were offered exclusive two-year contracts by the Sydney Theatre Company to be known as the Actors Company. The other actors also offered contracts are: Deborah Mailman, John Gaden, Pamela Rabe, Peter Carroll, Dan Spielman, Brandon Burke, Eden Falk, Marco Chiappi, Martin Blum and Marta Dusseldorp.
