  • Nathan McCree has been heralded as the best composer in the computer games industry for the last 10 years. Best known for his music in Tomb Raider I, II and III his talents have enabled him to cross-over into both the music and film industries, and work with high profile names such as The Spice Girls and Orange.

    Tomb Raider III has long been regarded as the "best sounding computer game to date" and Nathan's work on the SEGA Megadrive game Asterix and the Power of the Gods earned the accolade "Best Computer Game Music Ever!".

    He was also credited with the sound for SoulStar on the SEGA Mega-CD platform which was nominated for Best Computer Game Music of the Year 1994.

    McCree Music Ltd continues to provide music production and sound design for the latest generation of computer games. Recent projects include the forthcoming Breed which has been awarded 2002 ECTS PC game of the year, Battle Engine Aquila, a game published by infogames and Let It Rock, which appeared at the Berlinale Film Festival 2003.

    Nathan's stunning arrangements have prompted interest from film and television producers and also from major record companies. Projects for 2004 and beyond are being carefully selected and will include a new chill-out album of Nathan's themes, including Tomb Raider and two World renowned games for Blue 52. Nathan is currently working on BC via Intrepid for Lionshead.
