Biography

Hamish McColl was born on January 28, 1962. He is an actor and writer, known for Johnny English Reborn (2011), Artemis Fowl (2020) and Paddington (2014).

He and his costars, Sean Foley and Josef Houben, were awarded the 1999 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award, Best Entertainment Category, for the 1998 season show The Right Sea in Do You Come Here Often.

With Sean Foley, they won the 2002 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best New Comedy of 2001 for The Play What I Wrote performed at Wyndham's Theatre, London.

He and Sean Foley were nominated for a 2002 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actor of 2001 for their performances in The Play What I Wrote performed at the Wyndham's Theatre.
