- She tried out for the role of "Maggie", on Falcon Crest (1981), the mother of "Cole", the character played by her son, William R. Moses, but was rejected because she looked too old. She later tried out for the part of Maggie's mother, but that time she was too young. She later got the part of Jordan Roberts' mother.
- After she married Alphonzo Bell Jr., she raised his three boys along with her own four. She gave up a film career to raise her family and support her husband's political career. Family was so important to her. She still continued to do some acting stints here and there.
