Bob Maza was born on 25 November 1939 in Palm Island, Queensland, Australia. He was an actor and writer, known for Heartland (1994), Reckless Kelly (1993) and G.P. (1989). He died on 14 May 2000 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

He was awarded the A.M. (Member of the Order of Australia) in the 1993 Queen&#39;s Birthday Honours List for his services to the development of Aboriginal Dramatic Arts as an actor, playwright, and producer.
