- It's easy enough to make fun of a film distributor today, but how can you help but feel sorry for the poor bastard. He's faced with the daily decision whether or not to commit large sums of capital to producers who want to make pictures for release a year from now. Now, we all realize that exhibitors haven't a clue about what the kids want to see today. How can anyone possibly know what kids will want to see a year from know?
