Biography

Jacques Maury was born on June 25, 1937 in Berchem, Flanders, Belgium. He was an actor, known for Love and Death (1975), National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985) and Lady Oscar (1979). He died on March 20, 1985 in Mahé Island, Seychelles.

Died in the Seychelles, following a cerebral haemorrhage suffered whilst filming Pirates. The cast and crew had moved to Tunisia after he became ill, but before his death, and joined together to say a requiem mass in many languages in the Catholic church in Sousse.
