- Because she was well-known for her appearances in the "Gold Blend" coffee adverts on TV, the writer of the Inspector Morse (1987) episode, Deceived by Flight (1989), mischievously gave her character the line, "Coffee! Ugh! I *hate* coffee. It gives me a headache".
- (1987-1992) TV commercials for Nestle Gold Blend coffee (with Anthony Head). It was one of the most successful 'soap' type adverts of its time.
- She and her husband Trevor Eve guest-starred on a 1992 episode of Murder, She Wrote (1984) titled Tinker, Tailor, Liar, Thief (1992) but they shared only one scene together, since they both had separate storylines that didn't really converge.
