- Ginzô Matsuo was born on December 26, 1951 in Nakatsu, Oita, Japan. He was an actor, known for Ghost in the Shell (1995), Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie (1994) and Porco Rosso (1992). He died on August 25, 2001.
- Best known as the original voice of Captain Smoker from One Piece (1999).
