Biography

Johnny Mask was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming with a name that did not need to be changed since his own name looks like it belongs above the title on a marquee. He graduated from El Cerrito High School in California and attended San Francisco State College. He earned a Bachelor's degree in history and a Master of Arts degree in English literature from BYU. He taught English at several colleges in the Los Angeles area including teaching half a dozen years at Woodbury University. He made a few appearances in independent film projects and posed for several detective and romance magazines before working for about a dozen years for advertisements on Pacific Bell yellow pages. He spent several years working regularly as a movie extra and bit player and then became in charge of Admissions at the American Film institute and then worked as an office manager for an internet trading company. In the last few years, he has had parts in over 20 feature films, playing a variety of roles including the mayor of Miami, the town drunk, a preacher, a cult leader, a wealthy business man, a doctor, as well as a homeless bum, a cowboy, a psychiatrist, a monk, a megalomaniac, and a judge several times. He has written various screenplays yet to be filmed, and various poems. He has been a choir director and a soloist in various church services.
