Biography

Ana Martín was born on May 14, 1946 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. She is an actress and producer, known for Soy tu dueña (2010), Amor real (2003) and Destilando amor (2007).

She became very popular for her performance in the 1988 TV serie El pecado de Oyuki (1988) as Oyuki Oguino (Geisha), but after months wearing Asian makeup for this telenovela, she had to undergo plastic surgery to correct some damage to her face.

Daughter of Mexican comedian Jesús Martínez 'Palillo'.

She had her first leading role as Laura in the telenovela Muchacha de barrio (1979).
