Leonid Martynyuk was born on 20 July 1932 in Gomel, Byelorussian SSR, USSR [now Belarus]. He was a director and writer, known for Nauchis tantsevat (1986), Zapadnya (1966) and Pyatyorka otvazhnykh (1971). He died on 27 April 2013.
