Zé Celso was born on March 30, 1937 in Araraquara, São Paulo, Brazil. He was an actor and director, known for O Rei da Vela (1983), 25 (1977) and Prata Palomares (1972). He died on July 6, 2023 in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.

Is one of the founders of Teatro Oficina, a theater company.

Brother of the stage director/actor Luiz Antonio Martinez Correia.
