A lover of genre and auteur cinema, she co-founded the cultural cooperative Start Cinema in Ravenna with Franco Calandrini and Stefano Mordini. This initiative gave rise to the film festivals Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest and Visioni Fantastiche - Cinema per la Scuola. In 2000, she established the production company Kamera Film.
