Biography

Steve Martin was born on September 1, 1947 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is an actor, known for 12 Monkeys (1995), The Fly (1986) and The Bourne Legacy (2012). He is married to Donna Martin.

He is the founder of Frazier Park, California's animal sanctuary "Working Wildlife". Its establishment occurred in 1971.

He served as Ted Danson's photo double in Made in America (1993). It was particularly for the scene featuring a brown bear in a television commercial. He wore a mask of Hal Jackson (Danson's character) and wrestled with the bear as part of its training. In addition, he managed its playtime for the cinematic production's safety.
