Biography

John Martin is an American film and television actor with a career spanning several decades. He is best known for his work in Moment of Truth: Stalking Back (1993), One Life To Live (1986), El Norte (1983) and Mistresses (2013). He appeared in numerous television series and films, extensively starring in over 500 episodes in daytime television as well as prime time series. He started his career in 1980 through 'improv' classes taught by Rat Pack member Joey Bishop.

Martin ran a successful private investment consulting firm for actors, directors, and rock stars while acting from 1997-2011.

He attended acting school from 1983-1986 at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, and his first stage appearance was directed by George Clooney.

'Rat Pack' Joey Bishop was his mentor and 'improv' teacher since 1980.
