Nick Marra's career spans over 25 years in the movie makeup effects
industry. His work has been seen in numerous films, television shows
and commercials. Some of the more notable films he has been a part of
are; Jurassic Park, Terminator 3, Chronicles of Narnia, Ali, and Lake
Placid. Nick was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the youngest of 4
siblings to an Italian father and Cuban mother. He discovered early on
his love of movies and his artistic ability. At the tender age of 8 he
began putting spines on his plastic dinosaur toys to recreate one of
his childhood favorites, "Godzilla". By his early teens he was
determined to pursue his dream of being a professional makeup FX
artist. He moved to California in his mid-twenties and hasn't regretted
a thing. A veteran of over 150 movies, Nick's personal works are in the
collection of some of Hollywood's brightest lights: Sir Anthony
Hopkins, Jim Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, Robert
Rodriguez, and Greg Nicotero, among many others.
