Biography

Hans Marr was born on July 22, 1878 in Breslau, Silesia, Germany [now Wroclaw, Dolnoslaskie, Poland]. He was an actor and director, known for Wilhelm Tell (1923), The Ladies' Paradise (1922) and Silent Night (1934). He died on March 31, 1949 in Vienna, Austria.

The actor Hans Marr became well-known especially because of his performance of Wilhelm Tell in the 20's and 30's.
