A dreamer and visionary, Andras came into the world amidst bombs and has been a Peace-nic ever since. He has witnessed revolution and the evolution of humanity. Andras, a Magyar from Hungary, has played many roles on the stages of life including: artist, sculptor, actor on stage and screen, producer, documentarian, advertising executive, swim and soccer star, and witness to the global human experience. He is the original "Heartist in Resonance" with a vision of peace and how to produce it in the world. He is a teacher of Kriya Yoga, the breath that brings one into silence.

Artistic expression became Andras' passion as he dove into the New Yourk Theater world as an actor, director, producer, and theater owner. He studied Method Acting under Lee Strasburg as part of the Actor's Studio and participated in many theater groups. Madeleine Thornton-Sherwood was Andras' mentor throughout his training and he acted in her film "Goodnight Sweet Prince" for the Directing Workshop of Women of the American Film Institute.

Andras became one of three owners of an off off Broadway theater in the basement of The Open Mind Art Bookstore in Soho. They formed the Off Off Broadway Alliance and staged a parade and art event that ran the full length of Broadway, opening possibilities for many theaters, actors, writers, directors, and producers.

Playing the role of Dr Doogood in "The Bank and the People" became a pivotal moment for Andras. A student from NYU's Film School saw the play and asked him to read her Master's Thesis and play the romantic lead in her student film. Andras agreed and participated in the full process of producing the short film, including location scouting, rewriting his part, and including aspects for his character to enrich the film. Susan Seidelman's film "And You Act Like One, Too" was nominated for an Academy Award in the Short Film Category. This role opened Andras to Hollywood and the LA Film world.

Andras created many roles and projects including starting a film actor's school on Melrose Ave. that developed into a creative lab for all aspects of film making. He produced "Jokes My Folks Never Told Me" and purchased two scripts "The Chopan Express" and "The Golden Shell" which are still in development.

His philanthropic ventures included a Malibu 'Run for Health' to raise awareness of children's health issues and 'Artists for Peace' that raised money for Habitat for Humanity,.

While presenting a project at Cannes Film Festival, Andras began a ten-year journey exploring the lives of Vincent and Theo Van Gogh, eventually playing both men in a one-man play written by Leonard Nimoy. He continues to share Vincent's message of brotherly love and passion that is even more relevant in today's world.
