Biography

Raphaël Marongiu was born on February 18, 1944 in Maurevert, Chaumes-en-Brie, Seine-et-Marne, France. He was an actor. He died on March 26, 2021 in Brussels, Belgium.

In 1965, he prepared the first issue of the fanzine Mercury-Bis together with J-P Bouyxou and Jean-Claude Michel.

Used to make scale models of the Universal Monsters, one which is seen in the Jean Rollin movie Les Démoniaques.

As Georges Maurevert, and Waldo, he was a drawer, a cartoonist, and a painter. As Georges Moreville, Dan Perrot, and Éric Guez, he was a novelist. As Raphaël Marongiu, and sometimes Georges Maurevert, he was a photographer, and an author of comics.
