Biography

Hilde Maroff was born on June 5, 1904 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for Was Frauen träumen (1933), Die Frau am Scheidewege (1938) and Die Piraten der Ostseebäder (1927). She was married to Dr. Kurt Bosse. She died on August 15, 1984.

Character comedienne and dancer, on stage from 1919 and in films three years later. She gained some prominence in supporting roles during the 1920's and 30's. After the war, she was active in children's theatre. Maroff was the mother of child actor Peter Bosse.
