  • Is interred in the Margaritis family mausoleum at Pere-Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, Division 2.
  • Died suddenly while producing Season 12 of his TV variety program La piste aux étoiles (1954). The show ran until 1976, with Margaritis receiving creator credit for each episode until the end.
