Lidia Martora was an actress, known for The Accomplices (1955), Signori si nasce (1960) and The Four Monks (1962). She was married to Peppino De Filippo. She died on April 23, 1971 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

She married actor/writer Peppino De Filippo only a few hours before her death. In fact they had been partners for more than 25 years, but he was still married to his first wife (and divorce was not allowed in Italy at that time). In December 1970 divorce was sanctioned by law. De Filippo asked immediately for a divorce, but Lidia Martora was already seriously ill, so their wedding was allowed.
