Biography

I have been working in the Vancouver Film and Television Industry Special Effects department since 1988. I have been a department head for 30 years. I am responsible for the crews, performers, and budgets of various sized productions. I have over 100 different projects on my credit list. It is viewable on IMDB and available upon request.



More recently (10 years) I have created and manage REAL TIME FX LTD. a separate company devoted to the import and distribution of entertainment pyrotechnics. I supply western Canada film and television productions , as well as concert touring companies , special events etc. This has led me to engaging in working as a local hire concert stagehand periodically thru my dual membership of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees 891/118



Prior to film production I was employed in sound reinforcement and lighting design for live events as well as audio engineering in recording studios.

In 1985/86 I was a supervisor for the Grounds Services department at EXPO 86.



My knowledge and artistic vision enables me to bring concept to reality.

I have an excellent understanding of budget and time considerations in producing filmed and live entertainment product.

In addition I have education and experience in - directing, production design, management, editing, CGI, and post production.

I have 2 SPFX trailer/equipment packages and excellent fabrication shop facilities.
