He was married to Ginette Ravel, Denise Plouffe, Shirley Théroux, and Shirley Théroux. He died on 13 July 2022 in Québec, Québec, Canada.

Broadcaster and businessman, his most famous and very popular variety show was Les Tannants with Shirley Théroux and Roger Giguère later replaced by Joël Denis.
