Luigi Marchione is an Italian production designer, set designer and visual artist. He is best known for his award-winning work with Ermanno Olmi on The Profession of Arms and Singing Behind Screens, for which he received major Italian awards including the David Donatello, the Nastro d’Argento and the Capitello d’Oro. His career also includes collaborations with directors such as Alessandro D’Alatri, Carlo Verdone and Peter Webber, as well as formative artistic experiences connected to Franco Zeffirelli and Luca Ronconi. In international productions, he has worked as an art director, concept artist and visual development artist on films associated with Ridley Scott, Guy Ritchie and Kenneth Branagh, including Exodus: Gods and Kings, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and Murder on the Orient Express.
