Mike Marchain

Mike Marchain began his career in post production in 1995 at Acme Sound as an intern, and soon started his journey into sound editorial at Todd AO Studios in their newly formed post sound editorial facility at their Santa Monica location. Mike worked at Todd AO as an apprentice editor and soon thereafter an assistant editor, and after learning the editing process, Mike moved into dialogue / Adr editing field. Working as an adr supervisor, he shifted his career and took on the role of supervising sound editor where he has focused his workflow overseeing the sound creative process from 1998 to present. Mike still enjoys the creative process and continues to learn and update his skills with the ever changing technology and tools that are used to enhance and protect the natural sound of each environment and vocal quality that works alongside the soundscape of designed sound and sound effects.
