Biography

Rolf Marbot was born on May 28, 1906 in Breslau, Silesia, Germany [now Wroclaw, Dolnoslaskie, Poland]. He was a composer, known for Mädchen in Uniform (1931), Kiki (1932) and The Living Dead (1932). He died on August 22, 1974 in Cannes, Alpes-Maritimes, France.

In 1956, he co-composed with Henri Betti the French song "L'Auberge Fleurie" (lyrics by André Salvet and Francis Lopez) for the movie L'auberge en folie (1956).
