John Mansfield(1916-1956)

Born John Chacamaty in 1916. Graduated from Biddeford High School,
Biddeford, Maine, class of 1935 and was known as an exceptional varsity
athlete and a talented violinist. Attended Colby College in Waterville,
Maine, where he became involved in dramatics. Moved to Hollywood where
found success as an actor until his untimely death at the age of 40 due
to a heart attack.
