Biography

Bruno Manser was born on August 25, 1954 in Basel, Switzerland. He died on March 10, 2005 in Sarawak, Malaysia.

He disappeared during his last journey to Sarawak and is presumed dead. He was last seen on 25 May 2000 near the mountain Bukit Batu Lawi in Sarawak, Malaysia. Despite extensive searching no trace of him was found and the Swiss authorities declared him legally dead on 10 March 2005.
