  • Danka Muzdeka Mandzuka holds a Ph.D. in Fine Arts Production. She started her career as a professor and producer at the age of 21. After becoming a tenured professor at Faculty of Drama Arts at the University of Arts in Belgrade, she served as Chairman of the Department of Theatre Production for eight years.

    Danka authored a number of articles and two books regarding art production.

    Danka founded two independent theater groups: "Within Various" and "Dialogue." She produced many theatre plays, including: "Meeting on the Top," "The Real Thing," "Good Night, Freddie," "The Crucial Witness," "The Chauvinistic Farce," "Don Quixote," "The Little Mermaid," "Oresteia," "Defending Belgrade," etc.

    Danka produced documentaries and featured films including "Vukovar Poste Restante." This featured film won prizes at eighteen international festivals and was considered for 1994 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

    Danka resides in Serbia and USA.
