Denis Mandel

Denis Mandel is an American actor and writer with a background in theater, television, and film. His television work includes a recurring role on Happy Days, along with guest-star and co-star appearances on network television. His stage work includes the lead role in Whose Life Is It Anyway? at Theatre/Theater in Hollywood. He has also appeared in national commercials for Toyota, Goodyear, Pizza Hut, and others.
His acting training includes years of study with Sal Dano, as well as Warren Robertson, Harvey Lembeck, and private study with Myra Rostova. Following his Final Audition at the Actors Studio, Mandel was granted Observer privileges and spent the following year doing scene work at the Studio.
As a writer, Mandel was nominated for the James Kirkwood Literary Prize, and his play, The Cure, was a Selection Committee Finalist at the Eugene O'Neill Theater National Playwrights Conference. His short fiction has also placed in national literary competitions.
