Biography

Al Mancini was born on November 13, 1932 in Steubenville, Ohio, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for Miller's Crossing (1990), The Dirty Dozen (1967) and Falling Down (1993). He was married to Carlyn Clayton and Denny Dayviss. He died on November 12, 2007 in London, Ohio, USA.

The son of an Italian-American shoemaker and amateur actor. Graduated in commercial art from Kent State University, Ohio. From the early 1960's, became a regular performer on the London stage and in British television shows. This included many guest spots on popular series such as "The Prisoner" and "Department S", as well as a recurring part in the satirical "That Was the Week That Was" (which he landed on the strength of a performance in "The Premise" at the Comedy Theatre in the West End).

Served for many years as intermediate-level acting coach at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under Milton Katselas.
