Edita Malovčić

Edita Malovčić, known professionally as Madita, is an Austrian singer and actress of Bosnian descent. She began her acting career in the late 1990s with a role in the Austrian film Nordrand (1999), subsequently appearing in films including Berlin Is in Germany (2001), Zelary (2003) and Four Minutes (2006). She has also worked extensively in television, with credits in series such as Medicopter 117 - Jedes Leben zählt (1998), Tatort (1970) and Capitani (2019). Alongside acting, Malovčić pursued a career in music, initially performing with the electronic duo dZihan & Kamien before releasing her self-titled debut album as Madita in 2005. Her music combines elements of synth-pop, R&B and jazz, with subsequent releases including Too and Flavours. As an actress, she has built a career across Austrian and international film and television, while continuing to record and perform as a singer.
