Tom Malloy(II)

Tom Malloy has worked for over two decades in all aspects of filmmaking, trailblazing the multi-hyphenate path as actor, writer, producer, and director. He has raised millions for independent films, produced numerous features, written and sold many screenplays, and has starred in a wide range of projects.

His producing credits include After All (2025) with Erika Christensen and Penelope Ann Miller; McVeigh (2024, Tribeca opening night premiere) starring Alfie Allen, Anthony Carrigan, and Brett Gelman; Dark Night of the Soul (2024) with Kristanna Loken and Martin Kove; Ask Me to Dance (2023), which Malloy directed and which played theatrically in 38 cities before streaming with an 88% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes; Lansky (2020) starring Harvey Keitel; Love N' Dancing (Amy Smart, Billy Zane, Betty White); The Alphabet Killer (Eliza Dushku, Timothy Hutton, Melissa Leo); and The Attic (Elisabeth Moss).

Malloy founded Trick Candle Productions in 2005 and co-founded Glass House Distribution in 2016, a global sales and distribution company with a presence at AFM, EFM, and Cannes. He is the COO of StudioDome. Tom is also the author of the best-selling book Bankroll, long considered the "gold standard" of indie film financing.
