She was an actress and writer, known for Pantomania, or It Was Never Like This (1955), Men, Women and Clothes (1957) and Design for Loving (1962). She was married to Colin McFadyean and Basil Bartlett. She died on October 13, 2010 in London, England, UK.

Her daughter (simply titled Lady Bartlett), was featured as a child model in "Childrens Fashions 1760-1934" by Doris Langley Moore. The book, published by B. T. Batsford Ltd in 1953, featured the children of many well-known celebrities of the time.
