- Lisca Malbran was born on October 17, 1925 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for Heidesommer (1945), Junge Herzen (1944) and Das war mein Leben (1944). She died on June 6, 1946 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
- In William T. Vollman's epic novel "Europe Central" (National Book Award winner 2005), she is frequently mentioned as a favorite of German soldiers during World War II.
- At the age of 18 she already took part in her first "Altes Herz wird wieder jung" (1943) with Emil Jannings, Maria Landrock, Viktor de Kowa and Elisabeth Flickenschildt. Because of the war she was only able to play in few more movies.
