Biography

Raisa Maksimova was born on November 2, 1929 in Saratov, Nizhne-Volzhskiy kray, RSFSR, USSR [now Saratov Oblast, Russia]. She was an actress, known for The Idiot (1958), Vdovy (1977) and Kak Dzhanni popal v ad (1956). She was married to Vladimir Grinevich. She died on December 11, 2024 in Moscow, Russia.

At the age of 17, she already started working. Got a job at the Karl Marx Drama Theater. In the same year, she received a diploma of higher education - she graduated from the Saratov Theater School, and also first appeared on the stage of the Young Spectator Theater (TYZ), where she worked until 1952.

At the age of 22, she entered the Moscow Art Theater, and after graduation she became a member of the theater troupe.
