He is trained in martial arts & stunts, with a god-gift for accents & languages.

Artistic foundation - 6 intense drama years including plays for the American embassy (USIS mumbai), fringe theatre in London & various social awareness street plays in India, also penned by him.

His parallel passion is environment & wildlife conservation.

His father Thakur Rajendra Singh Mahiarya is a reputed hotelier & mother Dr Prabha Thakur - a highly renowned poet & veteran parliamentarian who has represented india at the United Nations. A comfortable career foundation in politics or hospitality was the convenient choice but unlike most, Rahul opted for the uncertain life adventure of an artist !
