Born in Naples, He graduated in arts and cinema in Bologna. His passion for cinema expressed working as cinematographer, director and finally as producer. His favorite countries are Ireland and India, where he has many fraternal friends. His daughter Carolina De Lillo Magliulo graduated in architecture has always said that she would not have worked in the cinema. On 12 September 2012 he married Alessandra Acciai.
