  • Jeff Madden is an Toronto-based actor, singer, and an award-winning veteran of the Canadian Theatre industry. Jeff was an original Canadian cast member in the hit Mirvish musical Come From Away starring as 'Kevin T & Others', which delighted audiences for 2+ years before being shuttered by the pandemic. He is best known, however, for starring as 'Frankie Valli' in the hit musical Jersey Boys. For his portrayal, Jeff won the coveted Dora Award for 'Outstanding Performance in a Musical' and performed the vocally grueling show a total of 705 times, in Toronto and across Australia, to an audience of over 1-Million people. Jeff's other Toronto appearances include Rock of Ages (More Entertainment), Forever Plaid (Starvox/Mirvish), 'Til Then (Eclipse Theatre), Echoes (Andrew Seok/Fringe), and Angelwalk's I Love You Because (Dora Nomination). Elsewhere, Jeff appeared at the prestigious Shaw Festival for eight consecutive seasons, playing a range of lead and supporting roles including 'Frank' in Wonderful Town, 'Spinell' in Tristan, 'Wee Farley' in Belle Moral, 'Baby Face' in Happy End, and 'Homer' in Floyd Collins.

    Aside from 20+ years performing in theatres across Canada, Jeff has also appeared on TVs Murdoch Mysteries, Mayday, Accused and The Parker-Andersons, has recorded Voice-Over work, created a series of Cabaret shows called "My Life In Song", and recorded two CDs of Musical Theatre and Pop songs. His latest show, co-created with Adrian Marchuk, is called How We Got To Jersey: A Tale Of Two Frankies, and will be touring Ontario in the coming months, starting with a Dec 9th performance at the Oakville Centre For The Performing Arts. Holding a Master of Education degree from U of T, Jeff teaches acting and singing privately and has been a part-time faculty member at Sheridan and Randolph Colleges for many years.
