Douglas Mackinnon is a hugely experienced television drama Director with a proven track record of delivering engaging, original and distinctive shows to global audiences. Shows he has directed have won and been nominated for Emmy's, BAFTA's and many other awards, including Best Director in the BAFTA Scotland awards. He show-ran S1 & 2 of Good Omens and Anansi Boys for Amazon. He has directed tens of hours of television, including Line of Duty (S1 & 2), Doctor Who, Outlander, Dirk Gently, Silent Witness, etc. He has directed work of writers such as Russell T Davies (The Grand/ Doctor Who), Steven Moffat (Sherlock, Doctor Who, Jekyll), Neil Gaiman (Good Omens, Anansi Boys), Jed Mercurio (Bodies, Line of Duty), Dominic Mingella (Knightfall), Ronald D Moore (Outlander) and Max Landis (Dirk Gently).
