Alex Mackenzie was born in 1885 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. He was an actor, known for Kidnapped (1960), High and Dry (1954) and The Bridal Path (1959). He died in December 1965 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK.

Appeared in three Disney films: Kidnapped (1960), Greyfriars Bobby: The True Story of a Dog (1961) and The Three Lives of Thomasina (1963).

He was almost 70 before making his first film, although this was in the movie's second-largest role.
