Biography

Don MacKay was born on July 8, 1931 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was an actor, known for First Blood (1982), Stakeout (1987) and 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001). He was married to Jessie MacKay. He died on September 2, 2024 in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

He made guest appearances on all three of the longest running North American science fiction series: The X-Files (1993), Stargate SG-1 (1997) and Smallville (2001).

He made three guest appearances in The Outer Limits (1995). He played Dr. Charles Link in I, Robot (1995), Pat Dooley in Feasibility Study (1997) and Ollie Gibb in The Inheritors (1999). Coincidentally, all three episodes are remakes of episodes of The Outer Limits (1963). The only remake episode in which he does not appear is Nightmare (1998).
