- Sean MacGregor is known for November Children (1972), Camper John (1973) and A Mission to Kill (1992).
- MacGregor wrote and directed a film titled "The Over/Under", also called "Gypsy Angels", which began filming in May 1981 in Los Angeles, CA. Financial problems and disagreements led to law suits, and the movie was never released.
- MacGregor's abandoned 1980 film Gypsy Angels was later picked up by producer Gene Bicknell, who shot new footage, played the lead role, and ultimately got the film released on home video in 1990.
