Biography

Flora MacDonald was born on June 3, 1926 in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. She died on July 26, 2015 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

She was member of the Parliament of Canada for Kingston and the Islands (Ontario) from 30-101972 to 21-11-1988.

She was the first woman who served as Canada's External Affairs minister She was also the first woman who tried to become a leader of a national party in Canada.
