Biography

Christopher B. Maccabe attended; The Banff Centre; School of Fine Arts and studied extensively with Warren Robertson. He dedicated himself to the Theatre for seven years in the beginning; but then got the Film and Television bug. Christopher is a highly sought after Acting/Accent/Audition Coach and is renowned for his inspirational, inventive approach to understanding human dynamics. He works regularly as an Accent/Dialect coach for Film, television and theatre; where he specializes in training actors, especially British and French actors to perform with a Standard American Accent, as well as increasing their vocal range for Animation, Narration, Video Games and Commercials. He has also performed and coached accents from Regional America, The British Isles, German and Russian, to name a few. He has also has worked as a merchant marine; as part of the Navigational Team; as an Able-Bodied seaman, Wheels-man/Helmsman. He is also a skilled carpenter and loves to use his hands to build with wood and stone.

Divides his time between Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. Although has a strong fondness for states of Montana and South Dakota.

Studied with Warren Robertson (New York City fame whom trained extensively with Lee Strasberg from The Actors Studio and with Stella Adler at her Studio Of Acting. Part of the renowned groups from 1990 to 2010, in Montreal, Quebec and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Compared as a fine mix of Eastwood, Connery; with a dash of Cooper.
