Carole Lynne was born on September 16, 1918 in Rochester, Kent, England, UK. She was an actress, known for The Ghost Train (1941), Asking for Trouble (1942) and Balalaika (1948). She was married to Bernard Delfont and Derek Farr. She died on January 17, 2008 in Sussex, England, UK.

Married actor Derek Farr in 1939 after they met in the stage show "The Gate Revue". While he was away serving in WWII, however, she began a relationship with Bernard Delfont. When Farr returned, the couple agreed to a divorce, and both went on to enjoy long and successful marriages to others -- Farr to actress Muriel Pavlow, and Lynne to Delfont.

Educated at St Hilary's private school in Cliftonville, England.

In later years, as the widow of the theatre impresario Bernard Delfont, she was to figure in news stories about the way her husband's former holdings were being sold, and a plan to rename the Prince of Wales Theatre in Coventry Street, London, after him. There were second thoughts and a compromise was ultimately reached when she unveiled a plaque on the side of the building commemorating her husband.

Glamorous blonde soprano and actress who starred in several West End revues and operettas, including "Old Chelsea" (1943), in which she played opposite Richard Tauber, and the hit revue "Touch and Go" (1950), before retiring from the stage.
