Eleanor Lynn was born on October 29, 1916 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. She was an actress, known for Lights Out (1946), The Shopworn Angel (1938) and As Husbands Go (1934). She was married to Morris Helprin and Oliver Albert Swift Edel. She died on December 26, 1996 in Kinderhook, New York, USA.

Wife of Morris Helprin, who was at one time president of London Films. Mother of novelist and journalist Mark Helprin (b. 1947).

Noted stage actress in the 1930s and 1940s, with the Group Theater on Broadway. Occasional film appearances.
