Regina Lund was born during the rehearsals of Brecht's "Three Penny Opera" directed by Christian Lund, her father. Her mother, Sonja Lund, swedish actress and professional ballet dancer had the part of Polly in that very same play and she brest fed Regina in the small dressing rooms of the theatre during the performances. At the age of one she came to Stockholm, and at the age of three she was left to grow up with her father's parents in Gävle, a small city in the north of Sweden. She learned American English at the age of four and two years later she started attending acting schools. At the age of 13 she was singing, dancing and acting in the local musicals and plays in Gävle. At 17 she went on a scholarship to the US and when she got back to Sweden she was accepted to law school but decided after a very short period there that she had to go back to where she belonged. At the age of 21 she was accepted to the State School of Performing Arts in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her first part after acting school was as Ofelia in Hamlet directed by Jan Bergman (Ingmar Bergman's eldest son), Regina received great reviews and then hit Sweden like a bomb in one success after another. She seduced the audience as Sugar in the musical "Some like it hot" receiving the best female musical artist award (guld masken). She added a singer song writer career to her already successful acting one, both highly saluted by critics and audience. Regina is today in the process of her fort solo album. Apart from films, tv, shows, musicals, music projects, photography and, of course, theatre performances she just released her first poetry book.

Regina Lund is a Swedish actress, singer and recording artist. Regina is famous for her lead parts on stage such as Ofelia in 'Hamlet', Abigail in 'The Crucible' and Greta Garbo in 'GG'. The role as Sugar in 'Some Like it Hot' won her the Best Female Musical Artist Award 'The Golden Mask'. In film she was nominated for a 'Guld Bagge' for lead as Lisa in 'The Lake'. She also played Sabina in the comedy drama 'Livet är en schlager' written by writer-director Jonas Gardell, and starred in the controversial 'Kärlekens språk' (Language of Love). She has starred in TV as Tuula in 'I.K. - Ivar Kreuger', Ulrika Håxell in 'Aspiranterna', Mona in 'Rederiet' and Charlotte Dahl in 'Solisterna'. She was educated at The Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg, Sweden. Regina is also well-known for her voice and lyrics. Nominated for a Swedish Grammy Award for her debut album 'Unique' Regina has parallel with her acting career recorded, written and performed the albums Year Zero, Everybody's Darling (part 1 and 2), Dare, Förlåt Nej jag menar Aj, Return, Breathe, Living in Airports, Sunshine Super Moon and various collaborations and singles such as Rainbow Star and Scandinavian Rain. Music videos to her name are Unique, Silent Green, Mr Jones, We don't need another hero, Water Me, Breathe, Living in Airports, All over my body, Supermoon and Scandinavian Rain. Regina Lund is the Swedish voice for the hippo Gloria in Dreamworks animated Madagascar films and character April Ryan in the video game 'The Longest Journey'. Regina has worked as a comedian in radio and on stage with her character Laila Klang. She has made performance art such as 'Mother Svea a proper Swedish suicide' and as a painter she has had 11 art exhibitions including 'Rebirth' and 'Angels in Love'. Regina Lund has performed her songs and poetry live throughout Sweden and written two poetry books, Förlåt Nej jag menar Aj and Laserstrålar, as well as written and recorded the audio-book 'Nothing but the Veil - A tool for peace'. Regina is an active freedom fighter, peace activist, speaker and speech writer. Regina Lund is CEO of Regina Lund AB and an independent creator of her own arts since 1994.
